The ancient Greek sport “Pangration” where all the combat techniques were included such as all striking with legs, knees, elbows, hands & fist to the body, also including all submission techniques.
Kicking to the head may be removed all together after national general meeting.
Rules for Pangration Competition 
The ancient Greek sport "Pangration” where all the combat techniques were included such as all striking with legs, knees, elbows, hands & fist to the body, also including all submission techniques. Being a highly skilled sport, Coach’s trainers & players must appreciate that for safety reason’s some of the "Ancient” rules have been changed to suit today’s insurance laws making it a safer & more exciting to watch, therefore women will not be permitted to compete against males.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to abandon, amalgamate or disqualify any person, weight division or category where sufficient members are not present, or acting in an unjust manner. The rules are set to ensure the safety of all competitors No exceptions.
Obtaining cross over ranking
This is for students who have recognised ranking within another martial arts and whom wish to obtain a recognised rank with the Australian Pangration Athlima Federation (APAF) in order to teach, train or compete.

APAFP /APA Constitution
The very rules that govern control and enforce what Pangration is and how it’s to be presented / represented are set with the APAF constitution in joint with the APA. The constitution is at all times the rules that can not and must not be misused.

Hosting any contest under APAF / APA
Minimum requirements for hosting any contest under APAF/APA.
Any martial arts federation, Association, Club or coach may apply to the APAF/APA body to seek permission to host a Pangration contest. Minimum requirements must be met.

These documents describes the process to be followed when facilitating the management of selection of State/National Team members and officials in NSW, carried out under the direction of the A.P.A.F (NSW)& APA. This document also describes the organisational structure and functional relationships of all parties involved in the selection process. The procedures outlined in this Selection Process apply to all members of the A.P.A.F NSW and or the Australian Team.
